Engineer with a passion for clean energy
Rosemary Yardley
Hi there, thanks for stopping by! I am an engineer with a diverse background and a passion for solving environmental challenges. Since graduating with my B.S. and M.Eng. from Cornell University, I have worked in environmental consulting, energy consulting, and civil engineering. I am a self-starter and a fast learner – currently I am running my own web development business after teaching myself to code. The rapidly evolving global climate change crisis combined with my internal drive to make a positive environmental impact has led me to seek out opportunities to contribute to innovative solutions – how can I add value to your mission?
My Experience
Energy Consulting, Environmental Consulting, Civil Engineering, & Project Management.
Through the experiences I have been afforded with my diverse background, I have had the chance to wear a variety of hats within the engineering industry. I have worked on a team at a very large company (40,000+ employees), a very small company (11-50 employees), and have created my own business as a self-taught entrepreneur. These diverse experiences have equipped me with a well-rounded skillset and a unique perspective to apply to a variety of engineering challenges.
Some more specific areas I have experience with include site design and optimization, permitting, energy modeling, sustainability consulting, proposal development, and data analysis. The common thread among my experiences is my desire to make a positive impact on the environment and my community and my self-directed drive to solve problems.
